Encorp Rebrand

Everyone has a friend who’s not great at recycling. You like this person, maybe, but you wonder, what is the deal with the recycling? Is it that hard? Maybe you are this person. Tsk, tsk. Seamlessly integrating TV, radio, experiential, OOH and social media, this rebranding campaign for Encorp, BC’s largest recycler of beverage containers and electronics, we gave people permission to say, C’mon! Do it. Just recycle it. 

Rebranding this iconic BC brand with one of its more enduring campaigns was pretty great. I continued to see the Return-it Gang even after I’d left the agency where they were first created. I’ve watched the campaign evolve over the years and the puppets take on a life of their own. That’s the cool thing about this business. You make something and it lives on — if you’re lucky, sometimes after your career.
